Alondra Bahls-Mariles

Flute Instructor

Alondra Bahls-Mariles is a flute instructor and is currently the band director at South Grade Elementary! She has a degree from the University of Central Florida in Music Education and studied Flute Performance intensely under the direction of Dr. Nora-Lee Garcia. Her experience in performance includes recitals, large ensembles, chamber ensembles, competitions, and even a tour through Guatemala with the Flute Club at UCF. Ms. Bahls has performed on the piccolo, flute, alto flute, and bass flute. Her teaching experience includes but is not limited to three years of working in Middle and High school sectionals ranging from concert, solo, chamber, and marching music. A native to West Palm Beach, she went to Santaluces High School and Dreyfoos Schools of the Arts where she experienced both worlds of intense marching curriculum and classical study. In Orlando, where she studied from 2013-2017, she maintained a private studio as large as 15 students at a time, the youngest being only four years old. Additionally, she has been apart of the Florida Flute association since 2010 and has actively taken her students to the State Conference since 2015. As a private instructor, Ms. Bahls goal is to inspire students while challenging them through meticulous technique and exploration of flute repertoire, in order to be fully prepared for activities such as Solo and Ensemble, All-County, and All- State.
